A Repair Is Only As Good As Its Color Match.

Paint is where a body repair is judged. Panel work can be flawless and the job still fails if the color is a shade off, the metallic flake lays differently, or the edge between new and old paint is visible in daylight. Getting it right is a measurement problem before it is a spraying problem.

We read your car's actual finish with a spectrophotometer, because a ten-year-old red in Brooklyn sun no longer matches the factory formula for that code. The reading drives the mix, we spray and check a test card, then apply in a downdraft booth where filtered airflow keeps dust and dry spray out of the finish. Metallics and pearls are blended into the adjacent panels so no hard edge exists anywhere.

Beyond collision refinishing we correct the paint problems that come with age and city life: deep scratches and key marks, scuffed panels from tight parking, peeling clear coat on roofs and hoods, faded and oxidized finishes, and mismatched panels from a previous repair someone else rushed.

Refinishing Services.

Spectrophotometer Matching

Your actual finish is measured, not just looked up by code, then verified on a test card before any paint reaches the vehicle.

Downdraft Booth Application

Filtered, heated airflow pulls overspray away from the panel and cures the finish evenly for a factory-smooth surface.

Panel Blending

New color is blended into adjacent panels so metallics and pearls transition invisibly instead of stopping at a hard edge.

Scratch & Scuff Repair

Clear-coat scratches are machine polished; deeper scratches through to primer or metal are filled, primed and refinished.

Peeling & Faded Finishes

Failed clear coat and oxidized paint are stripped, resealed and refinished — the only repair that actually lasts on a peeling panel.

Corrosion Protection

Seam sealer, cavity wax and primer systems are restored during refinishing so the panel is protected underneath, not just pretty on top.

Our Paint Process.

  1. 01

    Estimate & Color Read

We assess the panels and take a spectrophotometer reading of your existing finish during the estimate.

  2. 02

    Body Prep

Dents, dings and defects are corrected first — paint magnifies whatever is underneath it.

  3. 03

    Prime & Seal

Bare areas are primed and the panel sealed so the color lays consistently across old and new surfaces.

  4. 04

    Spray & Blend

Base coat is applied in the booth and blended into adjacent panels, then clear coat is applied over the blend area.

  5. 05

    Bake & Cure

The finish is baked in the booth to full hardness rather than air-dried in the shop.

  6. 06

    Polish & Inspect

The panel is de-nibbed and polished, then inspected under multiple light sources with you before delivery.

Common Questions.

Can you match my car's exact paint color?
Yes. We read the actual finish on your vehicle with a spectrophotometer rather than relying only on the paint code, because sun exposure changes how a color has aged. That reading is used to mix the paint, and we spray a test card first to confirm before anything touches the car.
Why is my clear coat peeling or faded?
Clear coat fails from UV exposure over years, and peels faster on horizontal surfaces like the roof, hood and trunk. Once it starts lifting it cannot be polished back — the panel needs to be sanded down and refinished properly.
Can a deep scratch be buffed out?
If the scratch is only in the clear coat, machine polishing usually removes it. If you can catch a fingernail in it or see primer or metal, the panel needs to be filled, primed and refinished for a lasting repair.
Do you blend paint into the surrounding panels?
Yes, where the finish requires it. Metallics and pearls especially need blending into adjacent panels so there is no visible edge between old and new paint. Charging for a panel and skipping the blend is why some repairs look obviously repainted.
How long does a paint job take?
A single-panel refinish is usually two to three days including cure time. Multi-panel work and full repaints take longer — we quote realistic dates rather than optimistic ones.
How should I care for fresh paint?
Avoid automatic brush car washes and wax for the first 30 days while the finish fully cures. Hand wash with mild soap in the meantime. We go over this with you at pickup.
